Matt Gormly joined the Wicks Group in July 1999. As a Managing Partner at Wicks, he is involved in all its investment and management activities and serves on the Board of Directors of all of its operating companies.
Prior to joining Wicks, Mr. Gormly was a Managing Director at BCI Advisors, Inc, a middle market focused private equity firm. In that capacity, he was responsible for origination, acquisition negotiation, bank financings, and exit strategies for the Partnership's investments in the media and entertainment industries. Prior to joining BCI Advisors, Mr. Gormly spent seven years acquiring and financing a wide variety of middle market media properties for two investment companies. Mr. Gormly is actively involved and supports a number of educational organizations.
Matt Gormly holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, from Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia and an MBA from the Babcock School of Management at Wake Forest University. |
